Lauren Heller has worked at the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office since 2010, where she represents children as their attorney and guardian ad litem in civil child protection cases. Lauren graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in 2010. As a law student, she clerked in the Domestic Relations Division of the Public Guardian’s Office and at Health and Disability Advocates, as part of the Chicago Medical-Legal Partnership for Children. At DePaul, Lauren obtained a certificate in Family Law, was co-president of the Family Law Society, and participated in DePaul’s Special Education Advocacy Clinic.
