Christopher C. Heery is an attorney at Stetler, Duffy & Rotert, Ltd., where he concentrates his practice on representing individual and corporate clients in complex civil litigation matters, internal investigations, and government enforcement actions.

Prior to joining Stetler, Duffy & Rotert, Ltd, Chris worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles P. Kocoras of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Chris also served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois. While working in the Violent Crimes Bureau he handled matters involving racketeering, extortion, murder for hire, false statements and national security crimes.

Chris is a member of the bars of the State of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

Chris received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 2004. In 2011, he graduated with honors from The John Marshall Law School and served as a comment editor for The John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law.
