Ruth Greenwood is a Staff Attorney and the Voting Rights Project Coordinator at the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.  She has been working in voting rights law and advocacy since 2009 and as an attorney since 2006.  She focuses on redistricting, minority representation and youth voter registration.  Prior to joining the Chicago Lawyers' Committee, she worked at the Fair Elections Legal Network and the Democratic National Committee's Voting Rights Institute.  Ruth is admitted to practice as an attorney in Illinois and New York.  Ruth was awarded an Exceptional Service Award by the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners in 2014, and is a Board Member of the Prison Policy Institute.
