About

Maura is currently serving as a federal law clerk in the Northern District of Illinois, handling a variety of federal cases, including employment discrimination, consumer class actions, civil rights and disability benefits.  She has also served at the appellate level as a law clerk to the Honorable William J. Bauer on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  Maura began her career as an associate in the commercial litigation department at Bell, Boyd and Lloyd LLP (now K&L Gates), handling breach of contract and securities fraud cases, in both state and federal courts.  During law school, Maura was a student articles editor for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal.
