Why did you decide to attend Loyola’s Weekend JD program?
I was initially attracted to Loyola’s Weekend JD program because of its reputation and unconventional model, which I thought would be great for me as a part-time student. However, I was most impressed by the outreach of the law school community, who immediately made me feel welcomed, and provided continuous communication and support throughout the entire admissions process.
What do you like best about the program?
There are many things to like about the weekend program, but best of all is its flexibility. The bi-weekly class schedule, coupled with online learning, allows me the freedom to create a schedule that’s best for me any given week.
What do you plan to do with your law degree?
I certainly want to practice, however, I’ve yet to decide between criminal or international law.
What advice can you give prospective students interested in applying to Loyola’s Weekend JD program?
I encourage every prospective student to reach out to Admissions, current students, and alumni. As I learned during this process, everyone at the law school wants you to succeed and will continuously provide invaluable resources to help you make the best decisions.
