Off-Campus Housing and Living in Chicago

Off-campus housing is the most popular choice among our students, who live in neighborhoods throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Many students enjoy participating in academic and social activities at the law school, but enjoy the separation between school and their personal lives.

This webpage offers resources from current students to incoming law students looking to get settled in the area. The “Housing Guide”offers tips on searching for an apartment, listings sites, and student opinions on neighborhoods. The “Living in Chicago” guide provides information on transportation, dining, shopping, and recreation. Additionally, the “Roommate Network Directory” is offered by the Law Admission Office to assist students with finding classmates as potential roommates. The form to sign up for the Roommate Network will be available in April.
