Sakai

Sakai is an open-source learning management system (LMS) used for Loyola online, blended, hybrid, and in-person courses. Sakai can also be used by the Loyola community to host collaborative project sites for research, student clubs and organizations, and a variety of learning and online training activities.

Quick Access & Getting Started

Use the latest version of your internet browser, e.g., Firefox (Mozilla), Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge for an optimal Sakai experience. Sakai does not work in Internet Explorer 7 or earlier, or with Firefox 10 or earlier.

Sakai authentication uses the same credentials as your Loyola Universal ID (LID or UVID).

Sakai is also used by the Loyola community to host collaborative project sites  for research, student clubs and organizations, and various learning and online training activities.

Use the latest version of your internet browser, e.g., Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge for an optimal Sakai experience; ITRS recommends Firefox or Chrome. After logging into Sakai, select your profile icon and choose Tutorial from the drop-down menu to access a brief navigational tutorial. (Student Profile Shot)
