Traditional ITRS Pathway
Saki Communication Tools
This interactive professional development series provides you with tips and effective practices for facilitating communication in online and technology-enhanced courses. We will explore the Conversations tools to help devise a comprehensive student communication strategy. Although this is a sequential series leading to a digital badge, individual 45-minute sessions can be attended without committing to the entire schedule.
Accelerated ITRS Pathway
Sakai Assessment Tools
This interactive professional development series provides you with workflows, tips, and effective practices for assessment that will support every stage of learning. We will explore Assignments, Tests & Quizzes, Rubrics, and Gradebook to help create and develop substantive assessments. Please note, this is a single 3-hour session with a 15-minute break at the halfway mark. It will be held on Wednesday, April 17th from 9:00am to 12:15pm. At the conclusion, you will have met all the requirements to earn a Sakai Assessment Tools digital badge. This is the quickest way to build your credentials library!

Health Sciences Instructional Innovation (HSII) reflects the diverse scope of instructional design, creative content development, and academic research fueled by technology-based learning. As a member of the Stritch School of Medicine, Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, and the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health, you are invited to request and discuss collaborative projects and services within these areas.
Walk-In Support
Spring 2024
Health Sciences Campus: Support for educational technologies, course building, and instructional design is available in SSOM 180 on Wednesdays from 11am-2pm and Thursdays from 9am-12pm. Lake Shore Campus: Support for Sakai and statistical advising is available in IC 204. Sakai support is Mondays and Thursdays from 11am-1pm, and Statistical advising is Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30am-5pm. Hours are subject to change based on staff availability.
