Vanessa Estevam

About

Vanessa Estevam is a senior in Environmental Science and Human Management and Services. Over the summer of 2021, she was one of the inaugural IRJ Student Fellows and worked on a summer MAPSCorps project with the Centers for New Horizons – Bronzeville. She continues to work with MAPSCorps this academic year.

She is also currently working on completing an Independent Research with Loyola University Chicago by conducting research on a high school in Cicero, IL that might have been exposed to chemical toxins that are now affecting the air quality for students attending. She is hopeful to use her analytical skills to expand her relationships within her community.
