Postdoctoral Fellows

The Institute for Racial Justice (IRJ) Postdoctoral Fellowship Initiative aims to build pathways for generations of scholars to advance intersectional, interdisciplinary research that centers on racial justice and drives structural change. We aim to support scholars and equip them with the skills and networks to conduct change-making research, create transformational educational experiences, build community partnerships, and become faculty innovators.

Health Equity Fellow
The Center for Health Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CHIE) at the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health and The Institute for Racial Justice (IRJ) at Loyola University Chicago invites applications for one (1) two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Equity. This fellowship supports scholars from a broad range of fields and skillsets who center race and ethnicity to promote health equity in marginalized communities.
Strong applicants will demonstrate evidence of scholarly potential for collaborative, interdisciplinary research activities with the potential to advance policies leading to the reduction of health disparities and promotion of health equity in marginalized communities. Scholarship that contributes to understanding differences and similarities in systemic forms of anti-Asian, anti-Black, anti- Indigenous, anti-Latinx racism through social determinants of health is of particular interest.
