About

Bill Huebsch holds a BA in Religious Studies from the University of North Dakota, and a Masters in Theological Studies from the Catholic Theological Union of Chicago.  He served as a diocesan administrator for many years in Minnesota, principally in the Diocese of New Ulm where he served with Bishop Ray Lucker. He later served as President and Publisher at Twenty-Third Publications.

Bill has published more than 30 books and booklets on pastoral ministry, along with half a dozen adult religious education resources in both English and Spanish. He teaches on contemporary events in church history, including (1) Vatican II and subsequent pastoral and theological developments especially Karl Rahner SJ’s contribution; (2) Models of Catechesis, which a special focus on whole community approaches; and (3) Catholic Pastoral Practice in the Era of Pope Francis, including a close examination of Accompaniment as a pastoral strategy. For many years, Bill has maintained a busy international lecture schedule, assisting pastoral leaders to understand current church teaching and implement it within their faith communities.
