Faculty Workload Equity Project

The Faculty Workload Equity Project is designed to mitigate gender and racial faculty workload inequities. We are seeking two Faculty Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Liaisons (DEILs) to work with academic units to design gender-equitable processes in assigning, assessing, and rewarding forms of informal mentoring, invisible labor and high-intensive service that is disproportionally taken on by women and BIPOC faculty. Faculty DEILs will assist in creating a dashboard to track policies, practices, and to record service activities. This project is currently underway as a pilot in the Department of Psychology at Loyola University Chicago with the assistance of Cynthia Paidpati, the Faculty Diversity Equity and Inclusion Liaison.
