The Master of Science in Nursing with a Health Systems Management specialty track requires 38-41 semester hours of study in an online format. Clinical placements for students in this program can be arranged near where students live or work. Students communicate directly with their Program Director to arrange clinical placements*.
Students preferring a general program plan select any nine semester hours from the specialty options offered. Those desiring to specialize in either health-care informatics or outcomes performance management select nine semester hours from that specialty. The Quinlan School of Business offers elective courses open to MSN students. Students interested in taking courses through the Quinlan School of Business should consult the course catalog in LOCUS for course schedule and details.

Clinical Experience Requirement
2,000 hours of recent clinical nursing experience is required prior to beginning the first practicum in the nursing specialty to which you are applying.
