We are pleased to provide information about upcoming personal and professional development programs, services, and events. Please see below to learn more about a robust upgrade of the Careers website, scheduling meetings with Transamerica Retirement Solutions, and how to access registered nurses via 24/7 Nurseline.
Careers @ Loyola University Chicago
This month, we are launching a significant upgrade to PeopleAdmin, our online talent management application, located at Careers.LUC.edu. Hiring managers and job seekers will find comprehensive enhancements; updates include a more user-friendly interface, simple and intuitive navigation, and helpful search committee tools (i.e. robust reporting and audit functionality). Additional details, including upcoming trainings for hiring managers, can be found here.
Dependent Tuition Benefit Co-Pay
Tuition remission is a valuable benefit offered at Loyola. Effective July 1, faculty and staff utilizing the dependent tuition benefit will receive a 90 percent tuition discount, and the tuition co-pay for dependents will be 10 percent of full tuition. Please see the Tuition Benefit Policy for additional information.
Transamerica Retirement Solutions will host a "Get Ready to Retire" seminar on Wednesday, May 10. If you would like to attend, please RSVP online. The sessions are open to all ages and will be held from 3–4:30 p.m. and 5:30–7 p.m. at the Lake Shore Campus in the Institute of Environmental Sustainability, rooms 123/124.
Eligible employees enrolled in the Defined Contribution Retirement Plan (DCRP) can also schedule on-campus, one-on-one financial planning strategy meetings with a Transamerica Retirement Solutions representative. To book an appointment, visit the online Transamerica Scheduler. If you cannot attend a scheduled meeting, please cancel your appointment online or by phone at 773.508.2770 so those waitlisted can meet with a representative.
Walking Works Program
We are excited to announce our partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield's Walking Works, a physical fitness and wellness program. Participants can set their fitness goals and monitor progress online. Please visit the Wellness Program website for registration details. In addition, don't forget participation can also be tracked as part of the Wellness Program! Benefits-eligible faculty and staff who earn 100 points per quarter can receive $75 on their paychecks following each quarter.
If you are enrolled in Loyola's health care plan and seeking medical advice, consider utilizing Blue Cross Blue Shield's 24/7 Nurseline at 800.765.7298. The registered nurses can help identify your health care options when you or a family member has a health problem or a question.
EMERGE offers personal, professional, and wellness seminars, and space is still available for upcoming May classes. No matter what role you're in at Loyola, you will find a program that increases your knowledge and strengthens your skills.
