The Graduate School

The Graduate School has partnered with the Illinois Humanities Council for the 2016-2017 academic school year to offer a paid assistantship in a non-academic setting to a Loyola doctoral student in the humanities. Nicoletta Ruane, PhD candidate in Philosophy, is the first student to receive an assistantship through this pilot program. Ruane has a 10-month position with the IHC, working as a program coordinator to develop a new community-based program called Illinois Speaks.
