Resume and Cover Letter Workshop
Sarah Syversen will return for a hands-on resume and cover letter writing workshop. Using actual job postings appropriate for someone with a PhD in the humanities, Sarah will walk us through how to actually turn your CV into an effective resume and how to draft a compelling cover letter. We'll discuss how to translate your skills and experience from grad school into language that employers can understand and value. You will leave with a draft resume and cover letter. This is a hand-on workshop, so bring your laptop and current CV.
This event is open to all graduate students in the humanities.
Date: Thursday, November 16th
