About Us

The Andrew M. Greeley Center for Catholic Education was created to support the mission of pre-Kindergarten-12th grade Catholic schools through consultation and professional learning.

We meet with client organizations to identify professional learning needs and create customized plans to achieve those goals.

We create strategies to build the capacity of Catholic schools so they can continue to meet the spiritual and educational needs of the students they serve.

As a Center, we believe that…

  • Catholic schools are essential for the future of the Church.
  • Mission-driven, effective teachers and administrators are critical factors in excellent, equitable Catholic schools.
  • Consultation and collaboration provide a pathway to excellence and growth.
  • Innovation is necessary to fulfill the mission of Catholic education.
  • Advancing faith and equity will lead to ending systemic racism in Catholic schools.

By advancing the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Schools, we focus on...

  1. Supporting schools through innovative professional learning
  2. Sustaining and enhancing Catholic school leadership
  3. Challenging schools to pursue equity by removing barriers to support each student to thrive
  4. Producing practical research publications
