INDONESIA SECONDARY EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ISEDP)
This program is a unique collaboration between Sanata Dharma University (Yogikarta, Indonesia) and Loyola University Chicago. The ISEDP approach is to prepare Indonesian Catholic educators in the area of instructional leadership. In turn, the program participants prepare professional development materials and deliver them to other Indonesian Catholic educators in Indonesia. Using a combination of direct professional development sessions and on-site coaching, the ISEDP participants work in supporting local school improvement efforts. The Andrew M. Greeley Center for Catholic Education played an important role in the development and delivery of this program.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS OF THE PHILIPPINES
GCCE was asked to partner with the Technical Working Group from the Catholic Education Association of the Philippines to develop of a set of national standards for the management of effective Catholic schools in the Philippines. Modeled after the process used in the development of the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools in the United States, GCCE provided on-going technical assistance and support as the delegation developed National standards, which were unveiled in July 2015.
DIOCESE OF NSUKKA
The Andrew M. Greeley Center for Catholic Education worked with the Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Nsukka-Nigeria for two years. The focus of this work was to develop organizational structures within the diocese to increase the capacity of the system to meet the growing needs for Catholic education within the diocese.
