What are some of your interests and involvement outside the Gannon Scholars program?

I'm interested in refugee rights and women's healthcare. I'm a current board member of LUC's Student Advocates for Medicine in Politics, as well as an active participant in other social justice clubs as well.

Why is the mission of women's leadership important to you?

I strongly believe in women empowering other women, and the Gannon Center beautifully embodies that as it pushes me to pursue my passions and advocate for others.

What are you interested in researching? Why?

I am interested in researching refugee healthcare and the measures that can be taken to improve refugees' overall health and well-being through preventative measures. This topic is essential due to the current refugee crisis.
