What are some of your interests outside of the Gannon Scholars? Outside of the Gannon Scholars, I work with a non-profit organization at an elementary school. I coordinate recess periods and after-school enrichment programs with kindergarten through 8th grade. My passion is working with youth in schools as a teacher, coach, and life mentor. This is because I know I wouldn't be where I am today without the adults I encountered throughout my educational experience, and I want to be that same support for others through my career.

How have you benefited from the Gannon Scholars program? The aspect of the Gannon Scholars that has been the most beneficial so far is being surrounded by a powerful group of women who are doing great things in their communities and around Loyola. My fellow Gannon Scholars keep me going because their persistence and dedication to their aspirations continually inspire me to work hard and do more.
