What are some of your passions outside of the Gannon Scholars? Outside the Gannon Center, I love working with kids in the city. I also love volunteering with food justice programs and in urban gardens in Chicago. As an Oregonian, I love hiking and camping. I also love to sing and paint.

How have you benefited from the Gannon Scholars program? The Gannon Center is a source of empowerment and connection. The women in this program are some of the most assertive, influential, and down-to-earth people I've ever met. It is an honor to work and discuss social justice topics with them. The people in the Gannon Scholars program have inspired me to live out my story with integrity, love, and drive.
