What are some of your interests outside of the Gannon Scholars program? My interests include politics, foreign language, and travel. I'm passionate about human rights, international development, and public policy.

What are you researching? So far, I've done research on various international development issues such as the link between improved conditions for women and economic growth as well as the link between colonialism and climate change.

Why are you interested in this topic? As someone who prepares to work in international affairs, I think it's important to understand how marginalized groups are affected by both domestic and international conditions. This is especially relevant in the developing world, where women and ethnic minorities are the most marginalized. I hope that by first understanding these problems, I can realistically begin to tackle them.
