University Day at the Art Institute

University Day at the Art Institute

As a University Partner, the Art Institute will open their doors for Loyola students along with faculty, staff, and friends and family for an activity packed afternoon at the museum.

Senior art history majors Beatrice Levine and Amanda Malmstrom will serve as student ambassadors presenting works in the museum's Modern Wing, Gallery 392. Attendees can look forward to a gallery talk by Professor Paula Wisotski that same afternoon, called "The Mythic 1940s:  American Artists React to World War II."

This event will be from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 10 and will require a valid student ID. Entrance into the Art Institute of Chicago is free for Loyola students every day, including University Day. Please present your student ID at the admission desk for a ticket that is good for the entire day.
