Transfer Student Scholarships - Fall 2024 Entry
Loyola University Chicago offers $10,000 to $28,000 annually based on academic performance to qualifying new students with a minimum of 20 post-secondary transferable college credits. These scholarships are awarded with admission and renewable for up to three years for full-time students. Review our scholarship renewal policy for more details.
“Limitations: Transfer student scholarships are only applicable to full-time undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor degree. College graduates who are seeking a second-bachelor degree are ineligible for any merit-based scholarship from the university.”
Note: Loyola's transfer scholarships are exclusively for full-time undergraduate students working toward their first bachelor's degree. Second-degree seekers are ineligible. Scholarship renewal amounts will match the initial award given in the student's first year. The GPA requirements vary by award. "
Arrupe Transfer Award
Loyola University Chicago offers the Arrupe Transfer Award via a selective process to incoming transfer students from Arrupe College. Eligible students must graduate from Arrupe College. Admitted students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Undocumented students are invited to apply as well. Award amounts will vary by student based on the student’s individual financial need. The deadline for the scholarship is February 7, 2024. Please check your admitted student status page for the application. Scholarship recipients are required to engage in a dynamic program to enrich their academic, social, spiritual, community, and professional experiences in college. This scholarship is renewal for two years.
Dreamer Scholarship
Loyola offers five scholarships for newly admitted transfer and freshman who have undocumented status. The Dreamer Scholarship covers tuition, on campus room and board, and mandatory student fees. These scholarships are highly selective and finalist will be required to attend an on-campus interview. This scholarship is renewable for up to two years.

Spring Applicants: Under 20 Credits
Spring semester applicants with fewer than 20 post-secondary college credits will receive merit consideration as freshman based on the award amounts offered the previous fall cycle and with the submission of the final high school transcript and recommendation letter.
Note: These scholarships are renewed at the award amount applicable to the student's first year of enrollment.
