Nadia N. Sawicki
Nadia N. Sawicki is a Professor of Law and the Academic Director of the Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She holds degrees from University of Pennsylvania Law School, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and Brown University. Her areas of expertise are health law and bioethics, with a particular focus on issues relating to informed consent, end-of-life care, reproductive care, medical licensure and discipline, and conscientious objection by health care providers. Her work has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine; Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics; Hastings Center Report; Obstetrics and Gynecology; Law and Policy; Journal of Health Care Law and Policy; Yale Law and Policy Review; University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law; Washington Law Review; Maryland Law Review; and Cardozo Law Review; among others.
