Lauri also oversees the MRG Assessment Center, which provides comprehensive assessments and tests available for selection, promotion and development purposes. Lauri has completed several mid and high-level executive search assignments. She uses MRG’s thorough search process to assure candidates are fully qualified, interested in opportunities presented, and available for recommendation. Due to her strong background in human resources, Lauri provides valuable advice and thoughtful insight to both client and candidates throughout the entire search process.
For 16 years, Lauri owned her own business-consulting firm providing strategic advice and support in talent management. Early in her career, Lauri worked as the HR Manager for Woods Equipment Company, which manufactures lawn equipment. She then worked at The Furst-McNess Company, an independent agricultural company that provides customized solutions for livestock performance and profitability. Prior to her position at MRG, she worked in the transportation industry at an executive level.
Lauri holds a B.A. in Psychology from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and an M.S. in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Iowa SHRM State Council where she is currently serving as District Director for 2022-2024. She is also active with the Great River Human Resource Association (GRHRA), SHRM’s local affiliate chapter, where she served as President for 2020-2021 and Past President for 2022. Lauri is a past president of Lourdes Catholic School parent organization where she was responsible for volunteering. Previously she was a board member for the Women’s Choice Center and served as a member of the governance committee for four years. Lauri has been married to her husband, Tim, for 31 years and they have two children, Liz and Benny.
