The School of Education hosts two academic centers, each of which focuses attention on a subject of critical importance to the field of education. The centers facilitate cooperation between Loyola and communities on the local, national, and global levels. Our centers include:
Andrew M. Greeley Center for Catholic Education
The Andrew M. Greeley Center for Catholic Education (GCCE) is directed by Dr. Michael Boyle. The first organization of its kind, GCCE is dedicated to supporting PK-12 teaching and learning in faith-based schools.
Center for Comparative Education
The Center for Comparative Education (CCE) is directed by Dr. Noah W. Sobe. The CCE is an interdisciplinary research center dedicated to bringing a global perspective to the study of educational policy and practice.
