Coaching makes all the difference

I majored in history and speech communication, and I started my teaching career as an extended-leave substitute. Once I set foot in the classroom, however, I knew I had found my true calling. Now, I'm leading close to 400 students every day as an interim principal. And I couldn't have done it without Loyola.

The one-on-one coaching I received at Loyola helped me navigate through some challenging moments as a developing leader. Being able to talk directly with an experienced professional has been a tremendous asset, and it's helped me become a more effective leader.

Loyola taught me to give purpose to my work and to help build better leaders throughout my school. Together, my team and I are working toward a common goal of putting every student first, every single day.
