Diversity and Inclusion Campus Climate Survey update
Thank you to all who participated in the Diversity and Inclusion Campus Climate Survey. More than 4,600 students, faculty, and staff responded to the Diversity and Inclusion Campus Climate Survey during October and November. Just over 2,800 students—60 percent of respondents—completed the survey, followed by over 1,000 staff and close to 800 faculty.
Our partner in administering the survey, Willis Towers Watson, has just shared the preliminary results with us and will be providing some additional information and breakdowns of the data over the next few weeks. This will enable us to better identify those areas that must be prioritized for improvement and more thoughtfully engage with the community on developing specific next steps and a clear path forward for us as a university. We look forward to sharing the results and preliminary action plans and to developing a strategy for ongoing broad community involvement in the coming weeks.
