Latinx Familia Celebration

A Celebration for Graduates

The Division of Student Development is excited to host the Latinx* Familia Celebration focusing on the experiences of all of our Latinx graduating students (undergraduate, graduate, and/or professional studies).  This is a celebration focused on Latinx graduating students and will be a chance to highlight their accomplishments. All ramblers welcome. 

*Latinx is a gender-neutral term to refer to folks that identify as originating or descending from Latin America. Other terms that might be used are the following: Latino/a, Latine, Latin American, Hispanic (but originating from Latin America), etc.

The Latinx* Celebration will occur in  Jo Ann Rooney Hall on Sunday, May 4th, starting at 12 pm (Central). All students interested in participating in the celebration must register in order to participate.

Students are encouraged to invite friends and family to attend this event! Traditional cultural attire is encouraged!

A light reception will be held following the event.
