What attracted me to CURL:

I was looking for an Internship that would allow me to make a productive impact on society, and CURL values actively applying the research we do to better the community. As a Psychology major, I have a great interest in people and my Advocacy and Social Change minor has really taught me the importance of advocating for others. I felt that CURL would be a perfect blend of working with and for others.

What I hope to gain from CURL:

I hope to be able to improve my research skills through my work at CURL so I can continue to do research in my future as a means to encourage social change. I am hoping to get a better understanding of my local community and gain knowledge about the best way to serve those in need. I am looking forward to taking what I learn at CURL out into my people-oriented career.
