Kamil Janton

About

In his current role as a Principal Incident Response Consultant for CrowdStrike, Kamil is responsible for helping organizations respond and investigate security related incidents. This includes conducting and leading of complex computer forensics and network investigations for compromises originating from eCrime operators to nation state attackers. He especially enjoys conducting Windows and Linux forensic analysis as well as network forensics.

Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Kamil Janton worked at Cisco Talos Intelligence Group as an Incident Commander. His responsibilities included managing Cisco and customer resources during Incident Response, Threat Hunting and Compromise Assessment engagements. He also led and helped revamp the internship program for the Incident Response team.

Kamil received his Masters of Business Administration from University of Illinois at Urbana -Champaign in 2021. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University. Additionally, he has earned several security and networking certifications including GPEN, GCIH, GCFE, GNFA, CEH, CCNA and others.
