CJC Alumna Accepted to PhD Program at UMSL

Morgan McGuirk completed her Bachelor of Science degree in the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology in 2012. As a student, she interned with the Legal & Labor Affairs Department of the Cook County Sherriff's Office as well as served as President and Vice President of the Criminal Justice students' Organization (CJO). Since graduation, she has worked as a Legal Assistant in Chicago and a Research Assistant in St. Louis.

In Fall 2016, Morgan will begin the PhD program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). Established in1996, UMSL's  Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice is consistently ranked 4th in the nation among CCJ doctoral degree-granting programs by U.S. News & World Reports. UMSL's CCJ faculty are also ranked among the nation's highest in terms of scholarly research productivity.
