For students
Many CRIA faculty conduct research with undergraduate and graduate students. Please see listing of the affiliate faculty engaging in research on international topics and look for those who specify that they work with undergraduate students. To gain a better understanding of faculty-members' specific research interests and publications, both undergraduate and graduate students should go to individual faculty webpages (links are available through the affiliate faculty page).
Some undergraduate research projects are funded through fellowships, such as those through LUROP (for more advanced students) or USRE (for freshmen and sophomores). You are encouraged to go to these two webpages to read about such opportunities, preferably several months before the March 1 deadline for applications.
CRIA also organizes research-relevant events for undergraduate and graduate students. Most important, each fall we host a roundtable for students interested in conducting research on international topics. We also host talks with alumni, many of which touch upon questions of career development. Please look at our upcoming events page for these. Also look for specific emails sent by departments to their majors and minors.
