Ramblin Around Business Showcase

Throughout the month of February, local businesses from both the Edgewater and Rogers Park communities visited campus to interact with students, faculty and staff for the Ramblin' Around Business Showcase at the Damen Student Center.

Both samples and services were given out during the busy afternoon lunch hours as students flocked to their tabling areas as they were able to directly converse with the businesses. Curious students learned more about the types of services and products that these businesses provide, and the types of discounts that are offered to students. In turn, participating businesses were able to learn more about the demographic of the Loyola community as well as sustaining a new relationship with their young and local clientele.

Local businesses that participated include: Felice’s Kitchen, Auntie Joy’s Kitchen and Flaco’s Tacos.

This showcase is part of Ramblin Around - an entire initiative dedicated to student patronage on off-campus establishments and local businesses. The Ramblin Around Business Showcase will continue through March at the Damen Student Center atrium.
