Annual Assessment Reports
As described in our Assessment Expectations, program assessment is an iterative process, facilitated by annual reporting and feedback cycles. We request that academic units provide an annual assessment report describing what they are assessing, how they are assessing and what they are learning from the assessment of 1-2 program learning outcomes from each of 1-2 programs. These reports are due on August 1st of each year. Feedback on the reports is provided during the fall semester.
The 2025 questions are provided here. We will be collecting responses via Qualtrics, and will be providing this link via email before May 15, 2025. We are requesting a multiyear assessment plan for the program you are reporting on in addition to a curriculum map. Please use the links to download templates for these.
We are continuously improving the assessment process. In 2025, we will continue to provide faculty feedback through a faculty scoring team, that will expand to include faculty from all colleges, schools and institutions. Please watch for more information on this in the fall. If you are interested in participating in this effort in fall 2025, please contact assessment@luc.edu.
The 2025 Assessment Rubric is provided for your use in preparing the report.
The assessment team has worked to continuously improve the annual assessment process, and to increase the alignment with the Academic Program Review process that occurs every 5-7 years. Please consult this page often to see our progress on these improvements.
To support your general questions about assessment and your preparation of the 2025 AAAR, eight zoom drop-in sessions are currently scheduled. These will be staffed by members of the assessment team.
