Children's Rights Issues Briefing: October 1, 2013

United nations human rightsThe briefing addressed the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Optional Protocol on the Sale of Children, Prostitution, and Pornography (OPSC). Speakers included representatives from Loyola University's Center for the Human Rights of Children, ECPAT-USA, and The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights. The purpose of this program was to provide laypeople with the tools for using international law to advocate for children in the United States. This event took place on October 1, 2013 from 4-6pm at Loyola's Water Tower/downtown campus.
