Eve Haydt

Eve Haydt is the Healthy Homes Graduate Project Assistant for the Center for the Human Rights of Children. She is acquiring an MEd in School and Community Counseling at Loyola University Chicago. Eve earned a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Applied Sociology from the University of Tampa in May 2015. While attending UT, she researched the effectiveness of a local child abuse program which consisted of a puppet show shown to grade-schoolers. She also interned at Frameworks of Tampa Bay, Inc., a nonprofit which enabled her to teach social emotional skills to children of different ages. In her role as Project Assistant for Healthy Homes, Eve will help CHRC create safer homes, particularly for their most vulnerable inhabitants. Living in a safe space should not be optional for a child – it should be a right. Eve is very excited to join CHRC and Healthy Homes in their mission to protect our city’s youngest residents.
