Ashley Kennedy is the Communications Coordinator for the Center for the Human Rights of Children. She is an undergraduate student studying Communication Studies and Anthropology at Loyola University Chicago and has been award various scholarships and academic awards during her time at Loyola.
She became interested in protecting and advancing human rights through service work and advocacy growing up. Kennedy is an active leader on the Loyola University Chicago campus and is involved in various student organizations, including Women in Leadership Loyola, which she is the Co-President of. Additionally, she is a photographer and videographer, creating independent photo stories and short films. She is also a regular tutor and volunteer at the Rohingya Culture Center. She enjoys studying languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Korean, and French.
She hopes to help the Center in its mission by providing creative support to coordinate and stimulate efforts for the human rights of children.
