2019 Loyola Graduate Daniel Catlin

2019 Loyola Graduate Dr. Daniel Catlin’s work on a novel molecular structure of a metalloenzyme has been featured as the cover of Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC).  JBC is a high impact research journal published by American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).  This published work is a collaboration between researchers at Loyola Chicago and Colorado School of Mines; it provided structural and functional insights for potential bioremediation methods to remove insecticide pollution in the environment.  Dr. Catlin was the 2019 Dumbach medalist obtaining his PhD in Chemistry at Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Loyola University Chicago.
