Academic Council

The Academic Council of the College of Arts and Sciences serves as the College's policy-making body for curriculum, quality of instruction, and admission policies that affect academic life. The Council performs its functions in an advisory capacity to the Dean. It is charged by its Charter to formulate the academic aims of the College, oversee the College’s quality of education, and establish such academic policies: More Information

College Leadership Council

The College Leadership Council consists of chairpersons from each of the 19 academic departments, 30 interdisciplinary programs and three interdisciplinary centers within the College of Arts and Sciences. The College Leadership Council meets monthly during the academic year.

Dean’s Cabinet

The Dean's Cabinet is the internal leadership group within the College of Arts and Sciences' Dean's Office that has oversight into a variety of areas within the College, including operations, faculty affairs, financial resources, grants, academic affairs, student academic affairs, student advising and outreach.

Dean’s Advisory Council

The Dean's Advisory Council is comprised of prestigious alumni and stakeholders who provide advice and feedback to the Dean and support initiatives with their knowledge, experience, influence, and resources.
