Jacqueline Long, PhD

Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and International Initiatives


Dr. Long's academic appointment at Loyola is in the Department of Classical Studies. Her published research centers in the areas of late Roman history, literature, and culture, and of classical Athenian tragedy. Her teaching includes these areas, other Greek and Roman literature, Latin language, Topography of Rome, and Humanism of Antiquity. As Associate Dean she works with faculty in developing the College's curricula, and with partners across Loyola, including overseas, in administering academic policy.
