Advising

Career Development Center Advisors believe that considering what to do with one’s life involves much more than landing a job, and are ready to assist you regardless of where you are in this process. Career Advisors help students to:

  • Assess individual interests, skills, and values
  • Research the career potential of academic majors
  • Develop networking and interviewing techniques (e.g. LinkedIn profile coaching & mock interviews)
  • Connect with potential employers, internships, and other professional development opportunities.

In order to provide focused support for each school, department, or interdisciplinary program within the University, the Career Development Center uses a liaison advising model. Learn more about your Career Advisor below.

One-on-one appointments (in-person, via phone or Skype) are available to all Arrupe students. To schedule an appointment, please call us at 773.508.7716.
