Campus Transportation operates shuttles from the Lake Shore and Water Tower Campus. These shuttles serve LUC faculty, staff and students. Routes only operate during the academic year. Visit www.luc.edu/campustransportation for more details on shuttle services.

Campus Transportation offers advertising opportunities on its shuttle bus fleet. Advertising is currently only available to Loyola departments, schools and SSO. Interior ads will be installed on the Intercampus Shuttle servicing the Lake Shore and Water Tower campuses.

RATES

Ad space can be reserved in 1 month increments up to 1 academic year. There is a one-time installation fee of $50. All reservations begin on the 1st of the month and are billed one time at the beginning of the reservation. Advertisers are responsible for all costs of advertising, including production of materials. All ads are 11” tall and 44” in length. They should be printed on 30 gauge polystyrene. Please print 6 copies of your ad. Ads will be placed on all six buses. Rates are as follows:

Ads will be installed or removed during the closest weekend to the beginning or end of the month. Reservations are based on availability. We are not able to guarantee ad placement in a specific area of the bus interior.

RESERVATIONS

ARTWORK REVIEW & APPROVAL

New advertising for LUC departments, colleges, and schools must be designed by University Marketing and Communication. UMC charges a design fee of $35 per hour for creative work. Please allow at least 2 weeks lead time for design, and an additional 1-2 weeks of printing and production time for ads prior to installation. Design fee will be payable via interdepartmental budget transfer.

Departments with previously approved designs within the last 18 months are exempt from this requirement; however, any artwork that uses the University logo or name must have been submitted to University Marketing and Communication for approval.

An electronic proof of the approved artwork must be submitted to Campus Transportation by the 5th of the month prior to the ad start date. Campus Transportation will review the proof along with UCM within 2 business days.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Finished pieces must arrive at Campus Transportation 7 business days prior to the agreement start date.

Campus Transportation will take responsibility for installing and removing the signs on the shuttle buses. Ads will be installed or removed during the closest weekend to the beginning or end of the month. Ads will be placed as close to the center of the bus as possible on a first-come, first-served basis. Exact positions cannot be reserved. If there is a request to remove an ad prior to the expiration date on the reservation, no refunds will be given for the time that the ads were not displayed.

BILLING

Payments must be made via an Internal Transfer. Credit Card and Check payments are not accepted. All reservations are billed in full during the month that the ad is first displayed. Billing questions should be directed to Nick Memisovski at nmemisovski@luc.edu or 773-508-8444.

POLICIES

Campus Transportation reserves the right to review all ads and reject any ads based on content. Although not a complete list, the following types of advertisements are examples that will not be accepted:

• Advertisements for the sale of alcohol, tobacco and firearms

• Advertisements that promote illegal activity

• Advertisements that attack an individual’s race, nationality, ethnic group, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression or physical ability.

• Advertisements which are contrary to the university’s mission or values.

• Advertisements that contain the University’s logos or trademarks without the permission of the University.

Due to traffic delays, construction, and other unscheduled events, there are times when the Inter-Campus shuttle may be unable to provide full service for unspecified time periods.
