First Friday Fitness Classes

Spring 2018

Each semester the Loyola Fitness program will offer specialty group fitness classes on the First Friday of each month.  Make sure to share photos and tag #LUCFITFriday on the LUCFitness Twitter or LUC GFIT Instagram if you participate!

Spring 2018 First Friday classes:

Hip Hop Party Zumba
5:30 – 6:30 PM
Anna Joaquin

Description: Enjoy your favorite dance songs and easy-to-follow moves as you participate in this high-energy cardio hip hop dance experience you are sure to love. This won’t feel like a boring cardio workout, instead, this dance party is more like a night out with your friends.

Learn to Fly: Arm Balance 2.0
5:30 – 6:30 PM
Vicki Najjar

Description: This energizing class builds power in the body and discipline for the mind. The goal of the class is to strengthen the muscles that support advanced yoga postures. We will practice inversions such as handstands, head stands, crow pose, and more. Come flow to upbeat music and choose to fly!

Bodyweight HIIT
5:30 – 6:30 PM
Erin Phillips

Description: Enjoy a fun, energetic, and high intensity workout all done with different timed intervals and exercises just using your bodyweight! This workout will leave you sweaty and feeling strong at the end of the week.

Pre-registration is not required to participation in a first Friday class, and participation for all classes are first come first serve until room capacity is met. Once max room capacity is met, no one will be allowed to enter the classroom. Participants are not allowed to sign-up for anyone not present in the classroom at the start of the event.
