Summer 2025 Hours
EARLY CLOSURE UPDATE: We will have to close our facility early on the following dates for Orientation programming. We apologize in advance for any inconvience this may cause.
Halas will close at 6pm on the following dates:
- Thursday, June 5
- Monday, June 9
- Monday, June 16
- Monday, June 23
- Monday, June 30
- Thursday, July 10
- Monday, July 14
Halas Recreation Center Hours:
MONDAY - FRIDAY: 7 am - 8 pm
SATURDAY/SUNDAY: 9 am - 5 pm
Halas Pool:
MONDAY/WEDNESDAY/FRIDAY: 7 am - 1 pm
TUESDAY/THURSDAY: 12 pm - 6 pm
SATURDAY/SUNDAY: CLOSED
Halas Rock Wall:
Closed for the summer. The rock wall will resume operations in Fall 2025.

As a university building, the Halas Recreation Center is occasionally used for university events, such as graduation ceremonies. These events may result in facility closures, which are announced as far in advance as possible. The Department of Campus Recreation reserves the right to change hours, schedules, policies, and procedures at any time, should it be deemed in the interest of its users or of the university to do so.
Swimming in the Halas Recreation Center Pool is a supervised activity, and a certified lifeguard must be present prior to the pool being opened. Pool hours are subject to change based on the availability of qualified personnel. Schedule changes will be posted as much in advance as possible.
