Ignatian Silent Retreat

The Ignatian Silent Retreat is an opportunity for Loyola students who desire a chance to enter deeply into prayer, reflection, and silence during the last week of Winter Break. Rooted in the Ignatian tradition, this retreat provides time to rest, pray, and be free of the pressures and stress of the academic year. Students are paired with spiritual directors who help guide them to become more deeply aware of one’s life experiences and grow in relationship with God and themselves.
Who's the Retreat For?
Available to all undergrad and graduate members of the Loyola community!
What to Pack
- comfortable clothes based on the weather
- outdoor sneakers or hiking shoes, indoor comfy shoes
- flipflops / shower shoes
- any medications / antihistamines you will need
- shampoo/conditioner
- toothbrush and toothpaste
- reusable water bottle
- resuable coffee tumbler
- journal (if you have one)
- phone charger
Meals
All meals are provided by the LUREC kitchen. When you register you will have the opportunity to indicate any allergies or dietary accommodations you will need.
Cost
$100 (includes all meals, snacks, transportation, lodging, etc.) Financial aid is available for all our retreats.
