Water Tower Campus Ministry Graduate Assistant
Grace Girardot is a Chicago are native, hailing from the western suburbs. During her time as an undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame, she not only became a die-hard Irish Football fan, but also developed a deep love of Latin American literature and music. Through service learning experiences both locally and abroad, she deepened her understanding of the themes of marginality and otherness that were so present in the books and music that she was studying. Constant curiosity led her to wonder how faith also informs these ideas, bringing her to pursue an M.A. in Social Justice through the Institute of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University Chicago.
When she is not busy with homework or her duties as a Graduate Assistant, Grace loves being outside, day dreaming, exploring new places (especially coffee shops and book stores), practicing yoga, cooking, knitting, painting, and hand lettering.
