2017 Bike Commuter Challenge Winners
Loyola won in the education category for employers between 2,500 and 4,999 staff! Loyola University ranked 19th overall out of 306 teams. We earned 4,284 points logging 1,429 miles. Out of our 26 riders, the top mileage and points was Patrick Decker of Water Tower Campus. The leading rider from the Lake Shore Campus was Zhenwei Zhu for points and miles.
Biking has many benefits including reduced transportation cost, exercise and health improvements and its good for the environment! But there can be some barriers to biking especially in the city and during certain times of year. This guide is intended to help get more Ramblers on two wheels riding more comfortably and more safely.
This guide was written by Loyola’s Transportation Committee, a group of faculty, staff and students that seek to support sustainable transportation options for the Loyola community.
