David Klein
Senior Associate, Corporate Responsibility, JPMorgan Chase
David is a Corporate Responsibility Senior Associate at JPMorgan Chase. He is a member of the Community Engagement team for the Midwest, where he strengthens and supports the firm’s partnerships with nonprofits and community organizations across multiple states. David is deeply passionate about building strong, inclusive, and equitable communities, and through his role, he builds meaningful relationships with the broader community and directs resources across the markets he serves.
Prior to his current role, he worked for Fifth Third Bank as part of its Corporate Responsibility Office as a Community Development Relationship Manager. He supported the Chicago region in delivering financial empowerment activities, cultivating nonprofit relationships, and supported project management for the group.
Previously, David brought his passion for strengthening communities to MB Financial Bank, where he served as the Alumni Coordinator for the bank’s philanthropic education initiative. In this role, he advised Chicago Public Schools graduates on college and career success, while supporting the initiative’s programming across multiple high schools. David also brings his years of experience working in nonprofit organizations to his corporate roles, having previously worked as a Social Emotional Learning Specialist for Umoja Student Development Corporation as well as the Director of Youth Leadership at Center on Halsted.
David graduated from The University of Chicago, where he studied English, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and Human Rights.
